Downloading transactions from TransactionDesk

This article will guide you through downloading copies of your transactions from TransactionDesk and saving them to your computer to ensure you have access to them after TransactionDesk is no longer available.

  1. Log into TransactionDesk.

  2. Click the house icon in the upper left of the dashboard:

  3. Click the name of the desired transaction to access its dashboard:

  4. On the Transaction Dashboard, click the three dots in the upper right and select Archive:

  5. When the Archive window opens, click Generate New Archive:

  6. You may briefly see a message that the transaction is being archived (it usually only takes a few seconds). When you get the message that the archive has been created, go back to the three dots in the upper right and select Archive again. You should now see the option to Download Archive:

This will save a PDF copy of the transaction in your computer’s Downloads folder.

Note: the name of the file will begin with ArchivedFile.

  7. Go to your Downloads folder, right-click the file that starts with ArchivedFile and rename it with something more useful (the property’s address or the customer’s name) that will make it easier for you to identify in the future:

  8. Create a folder on your desktop for your saved transactions. Use the Quick Access menu on the left to get to your Desktop, click the Home tab (in the top left corner) and then click New Folder

Give the new folder an easily recognizable name (Downloaded Transactions, for instance):

You can then either drag & drop the archived transaction file you just saved into this new folder or cut and paste it from the Downloads folder into the folder:

You should now see the downloaded file in your desktop folder:

Repeat steps 2-8 for each transaction you want to save to your computer.

Once all of the files are downloaded, you may want to move the entire folder to a CD, thumb-drive or online storage location to move them off of your computer.

Note: the downloaded PDF files function best when opened through Adobe Acrobat Reader (as opposed to the PDF viewer that is built into your web browser).
